WHO WE ARE:

Morsan Farms Ltd. is a privately owned family ranch that operates in British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan. Our Fort St. John ranch is over 38,000 acres and is home to over 1500 bison and 2500 heaad of beef cattle. We are a ranch that promotes good agriculture practises and stewardship to the land and livestock we raise.

WHAT IS THE JOB:

We are seeking a self starter who is positive, motivated and hardworking to manage our ranch and team of people. The right candidate who encourages development and skills for a successful environment and operations on the ranch.

The ranch manager is a hands-on full-time position and includes operating equipment for the farming, feeding/bedding, maintenance of our livestock, equipment, fences in general, along with managing ranch personnel and equipment.

Requires the ability to work out-doors, year-round, in all types of weather.

Performs and designate general farm duties and assign duties to the right person.

Manage and perform care to livestock, and general herd health responsibilities.

Ensure all personnel safely operate various types of farm equipment and light vehicles. Responsible for farm machinery, equipment, and tools are operational by performing routine inspections and manage preventative maintenance and cleaning farm machinery, equipment, and tools and making or assigning minor repairs within your capability.

Salary: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
