Regional Sale Director

Compensation $100K – $165K

(Inclusive of both base pay and targeted IC)

Job Summary:
Kings III is a fast-growing company providing emergency elevator and pool monitoring service to thousands of commercial and multi-family properties across the US.

We're seeking an experienced Regional Sales Director to lead an existing regional sales team to new heights of success. You will coach, develop, and lead a team in our West Region of 8 Business Development Managers in So. California, Arizona, Las Vegas, Colorado, Utah, and Washington. The successful Regional Sales Director will be based in Southern California or Arizona market.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience managing a B2B sales team in a large geographic region. You should have a demonstrable track record of achieving your sales team targets over a multi-year period. Our ideal candidates have an “ownership” mindset when it comes to the success of their region and team. Key requirements are excellent communication and coaching skills with a hands-on mindset.

Ultimately, you will ensure that regional sales goals are met and exceeded.

Who you are:
This isn't your first sales leadership role. You've paid some dues at an individual contributor level and have at least five years in outside business to business (B2B) sales management exceeding your team's quota consistently. You can utilize a combination of sales metrics and healthy conversation to understand each person on your team and consistently deploy coaching and training to help develop them into difference makers. You have the ability and desire to continue sharpening your leadership sword by engaging content on your own and embracing new ideas from those around you.

Compensation is comprised of a base salary plus commission based on the attainment of assigned team's quota.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create personalized sales plans for each Business Development Manager in alignment with sales and business objectives
  • Become a true coach to your sales team members to ensure their professional development and productivity
  • Evaluate individual performance regarding activity metrics and quota production
  • Regular reporting on regional sales productivity metrics
  • Forecast monthly and quarterly sales goals
  • Identify hiring needs and train new salespeople
  • Analyze regional market trends and discover new opportunities for growth
  • Address customer issues and potential problems, and suggest prompt solutions
  • Participate in decisions for market expansion
Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business Administration, or relevant field
  • Demonstrated work experience as a regional sales leader
  • Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators, then create action plans for improvement
  • Ability to lead and motivate a high-performance sales team with a coaching mindset
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com
  • Availability to travel as needed, which may be up to 50%
