Remote Medical Collections – Hospital Accounts

LHH is seeking multiple Medical Collections candidates with strong hospital experience, for our client on the east coast. Qualified candidates are required to have 2+ years of experience collecting on hospital/UB04 claims, and must be able to work remotely.

Overview:

• Employment type: Temp to Perm / Contract to Hire
• Location: 100% remote, equipment will be provided
• Hours: Monday - Friday, 8AM-5PM (no evenings or weekends)
• Hourly pay: $19-20/hour

Responsibilities include:

• Performing insurance follow up on delinquent or denied claims
• Denials management, following up with insurance companies for denial codes
• Making claim edits/corrections and resubmitting
• Adding coding modifiers, updating patient demographic information, etc.
• Filing appeals when needed

Qualified candidates will possess:

• Two or more years of recent experience in insurance follow up/collections for Hospital/UB04 claims
  • Candidates with physician/DME follow up experience will not be considered
• Must be available for contract to hire / temp to perm hiring method
• Must have fast and reliable home internet
