Atlanta's longest-standing jewelry company, D. Geller & Son, has an exciting opening for an Operations Manager in our fastest-growing market. As an Operations Manager at D. Geller & Son, you are trusted with the management, development, and efficient workflow of a legendary team of Jewelry Consultants, carrying the legacy of an Atlanta staple since 1939. Your primary functions are:

1. To train, lead, and oversee a successful sales staff, and

2. To serve as liaison between your store and the administrative department.

Your goal is to lead a knowledgeable sales staff through providing an exceptional jewelry shopping experience. This is accomplished through thorough oversight of administrative processes, ensuring the proper merchandise is ordered, accounted for, and delivered on time.

We are seeking applicants who are committed to leadership, learning and growing within the jewelry industry, and are service-driven professionals. D. Geller & Son managers are leaders of a legacy spanning 15 generations in the jewelry industry, and display exceptional commitment to the customer experience, and the growth and development of our team.

· Administrative Management

Regular expectations of an Operations Manager include:

· Tracking and ensuring completion of regular administrative duties

· Producing and analyzing reports from a Point of Sale system

· Management of store filing system, checking sales, repairs, financing applications, and other transactions for accuracy

· Quality control over special orders

· Facilitating merchandise transfers

· Effective communication between other store managers and departments

· Working cohesively within a management team

· Training new employees in basic company policy and procedure, Point of Sale systems, routine expectations

· Corrective coaching

· Conducting employee reviews along with management counterparts
