Job description
A Burlington based Long Term Care pharmacy is looking for a friendly, dynamic, reliable RPN to join our clinical team! As a pharmacy liaison, you will be working with our operational and clinical pharmacy teams to provide the best possible care to the long term care homes, retirement communities, Transitional Care Units and Group Homes that we service.
Your territory is the Chatham, Windsor and Sarnia and surrounding area, the ideal candidate will ideally reside within the area.
Responsibilities Include:
· Must possess a positive team spirit
· Meeting with the homes to conduct audits, report findings and assist with developing solutions
· In-servicing the homes on Policy and Procedure as required
· Attending conferences and trade shows as required
· Must be able to schedule and complete tasks with minimal supervision
· Maintains accurate, organized and complete resident health records ensuring appropriate documentation of health information
· Participates in ongoing continuing education, remaining current in pharmaceutical, medical and professional licensing information
Qualifications/Experience:
· Registration and in good standing with the CNO
· Experience working in a Long Term Care Home or a Retirement Residence
· Experience with eMAR
· Experience presenting (policy and education) in front of a group of people
· Valid Ontario driver’s license, with good driving record and ability to travel throughout Ontario
· Ability to establish strong partnerships with other members of the health care team
· Effective organization and time management skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point

Salary: From $55,000.00 per year
