Sales Associate/Assistant Manager

We have a great opportunity! Creative Playthings is a leading manufacturer and retailer of high quality wooden swing sets. Our company was founded in 1951, but we at Creative Playthings believe that the best is yet to come! We are looking for a result-driven retail showroom Sales Associate. Sales Associate duties and responsibilities include working closely with customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about our products and recommend the right solutions. Come have fun working with happy families whilst helping them choose one of our kid friendly products! Compensation range includes commissions and is based on sales volume.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to the store and answer their questions
• Assess customers’ needs and provide assistance and information on product features
• Help customers make selections on the many fun, varied play sets available
• Process POS (point of sale) purchases
• Previous Retail Sales Experience a plus
• Customer Service Experience essential
• Showroom Experience a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
• Availability to work three days including Saturday

Part-time 24 hours per week. Compensation range includes commissions and is based on sales volume.

Job location: Creative Playthings: 1 General Way, Reading, MA 01867. We also have a full time position in Reading for three days per week including Saturday and two days at one of our showrooms at either 32 Needham St, Newton Highlands, MA or 425 Great Rd, Acton, MA

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

Weekly day range:

• Every weekend

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Reading, MA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
