Job Description
Windham Southeast Supervisory Union (WSESU) is seeking a School Psychologist for the 2023-2024 school year. We are looking for a skilled clinician to join the WSESU WEST evaluation team in completing evaluations and student centered consultations.
Competencies needed include:
Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams to administer psychological/psychoeducational tests.
A solid understanding of the VT Special Education Rules and Regulations and a deep knowledge of the WISC, WIAT and WJ-IV is required.
Knowledge of methods of assessment; systematic processes to collect data, ability to translate assessment results into empirically-based decisions about service delivery and evaluate outcomes of services.
Knowledge of learning processes, appropriate instructional interventions to meet students’ needs, and the ability to implement and assess their effectiveness.
Ability to develop comprehensive evaluation outcomes to determine special education eligibility and define student learning needs.
Ability to support IEP and EPT teams in communicating evaluation outcomes with parents/families.
Collaborate with other professionals within the school’s Multi-Layered System of Support (MLSS) as appropriate to support specialized learning outlined in the IEP.
Knowledge of trauma-informed practices and positive behavior supports.
Knowledge and expertise in evaluating students with low-incidence disabilities and autism spectrum disorders.
Knowledge of State and Federal laws and regulations for special education regulation compliance.
Ability to support and implement District policies, regulations, procedures and administrative directives.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
- Vermont AOE Special Education License (or eligibility for licensure or reciprocity) as School Psychologist.
Master’s Degree in School Psychology or Psychology with certificate of advanced studies in school psychology or equivalent and relevant experience in school settings.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred
- Master degree preferred
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required
