Full-time - NOC Shift

Security Guard Overview:

As a leading senior services and healthcare organization in Northern California, we provide a continuum of care and social services to enable seniors to age well and live their lives to the fullest. The Security Guard works as part of the security team to ensure that the San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living (SFCJL) residents, visitors, staff, and property are protected against fire, theft, vandalism, trespassing, or any other potential safety and security concerns.

What you’ll do as a Security Guard:

• Monitor and authorize entering employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain the security of the premises
• Control and monitor access from vehicle and pedestrian traffic on the SFCJL grounds at all times
• Operate the Security Operation Center and respond/dispatch response to all system alarms, alerts, and suspicious activity seen on cameras
• Respond and assist in emergency situations - call police or fire as necessary
• Complete daily activity reports, incident reports for your daily activities, and irregularities

For you to be a successful Security Guard:

• A current and valid California Guard Card required
• Ability to focus and perform at a high level of attentiveness on multiple tasks at one time and maintain control of your assigned post, required
• Physical ability to continually patrol the campus grounds, required
• Capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions, required
