As the Senior Administrative Assistant to Senior Leadership within the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program, the successful candidate will be a committed team member who performs a variety of administrative duties and other tasks. The selected candidate will need to exercise tact, initiative, diplomacy, professionalism, discretion and sound judgment, relieving senior staff of details not requiring their involvement. In addition to standard duties described above, the position will be responsible for meeting management which includes scheduling, attendance management, agenda review/development, verification of chart inputs and documentation of meeting minutes and action item follow through, making travel arrangements and reconciling expense reports as well as coordinate VIP visits, and special event planning/management/execution. Manage correspondence, SharePoint, coordinate office resources, and maintain a positive office environment. The selected candidate will be required to prioritize non-routine situations in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
In this role you may be required to provide administrative coverage when peers are unavailable. Tasks include management of Outlook calendars, e-mail accounts, conference rooms, arranging international/domestic travel; preparing expense reimbursements; providing administrative review of documents; creating and updating presentations and organizational charts; recording action-items while in attendance to meetings as well as action-item entry/tracking for those meetings where not in attendance but fellow teammate provides a list of items; managing office-supplies within budget; ensuring timely and organized disposition of sensitive materials and perform other general office duties as required.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off

Basic Qualifications:
- Microsoft application skills to include PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, SharePoint and Excel.
- Previous experience with expense reports and travel arrangements.
- Ability to create executive-level correspondence.
- Previous Administrative Assistant experience.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- College level courses or a college degree.
- Experience running Video Teleconference.
- Experience developing news articles for employees.
- Flexibility in work hours.
- Team player.
- Ability to multi-task and complete tasks under short notice.
- Articulate.
- Quick learner.
- Experience in coordinating customer and leadership visits and group events.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
