Senior Consultant

Architect, design, and develop highly available and scalable multi-tier enterprise applications.

Work as Ab-Initio, UNIX, SQL Subject Matter Expert, and lead projects integrating distributed processing technologies.

Drive projects during all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in different domains.

Deploy technical code components for application project go-live in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production environments.

Plan and define testing strategies and perform Unit testing for code changes.

Review and obtain alignment/sign-off on drafted testing scenarios, test cases, sample data for testing the application solution model and code.

Perform application installation, configurations, and setup such as Graphical Development Environment key installation, Co >op up-gradation, code promotion, and other Ab-Initio Admin activities.

Track all project related questions and defect trackers for maintaining all defects raised in SIT (System Integration Testing) /UAT phases which will be used for defect prevention (DP) analysis.

Review project vision documents with business stakeholders, architects, testing team, the User Acceptance Testing teams to draft Business Requirement Document (BRD) for technical teams to define and develop IT architecture strategies and roadmaps.

Conduct impact investigation of requirements by scrutinizing BRD, prepare System Requirements (SR) by evaluating technical feasibility, conduct Technical Impact Assessments (TIA), conduct and review technical High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.

Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve non-routine and very complex mission-critical production issues that immediately impact application availability. Work with development teams on permanent defect resolutions and ensure SLAs (Service Level Agreement) are in compliance and within project code functionality. Map processes to holistically examine business flow and identify improvement opportunities.

Configure the jobs in Control Center of Ab-Initio product to run daily, configure some jobs to run monthly and create job dependency as per the customer needs.

Develop number of Ab-Initio Graphs based on business requirements using various Ab-Initio components such as reformat, scan, rollup and join etc.

May be assigned to and provide products to specific industry groups such as automotive, banking and finance, healthcare, insurance, and Information Technology.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related. Five (5) years of any occupation with Information Technology experience, or related. Five (5) years of required IT, or related experience must include: Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC); ETL Tool Ab Initio; Programing Languages: SQL, Shell Scripting; Operating Systems: Unix, Linux; Oracle Database; Version Control System EME (Enterprise Meta Environment).

ALTERNATE EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: Employer will accept no degree and seven (7) years of any occupation with IT experience, or related. Must have skills listed above.

Reports to company headquarters in Plano, TX. Will work at various unknown client sites throughout the U.S. for up to 100% of the time. Must be willing to travel anywhere in the U.S. and may be assigned to work at client sites across the U.S. Can work remotely or telecommute. EOE. 8AM to 5PM. M-F. 40. hrs/wk. Salary: $119,246– $120,246.
