Qualifications
Candidate must hold a current Child Care Administrator License (LCCA)
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Have daily supervision and on-site administrative responsibility for the overall operation, and
- Overseeing staffing patterns to ensure the supervision and the provision of child-care services that meet the needs of the children in care.
- Ensuring the provision of planned but flexible program activities designed to meet the developmental needs of children in care.
- Having a system in place to ensure an employee is available to handle emergencies.
- Assigning tasks to direct care staff that do no conflict or interfere with their responsibilities.
- Administering and managing the operation according to policies and procedures.
- Ensuring that the program complies with applicable rules of Chapter 748, Chapter 42 of the Human Resources Code, Chapter 745 (relating to Licensing), and other applicable laws, rules, regulations, and contractual standards.
- Being available or designating a person who will be available in his or her absence, to handle emergencies.
- This includes being on-call, available, and accessible to employees.
Pay: $50,000-$60,000 per year
Experience:
Working in a GRO or RTC for 1 year (Preferred)
License/ Certification:
Child Care Administrator License (Required)
