Job Title: Patient Service Representative

Location: San Diego, Hillcrest, Chula Vista, National City, Kearny Mesa

Status: Per Diem

Compensation: $18 - $22

At IHS, a Patient Service Representative is exactly as the title describes. They represent patients, answering their questions, directing them when they arrive and ensuring they are prepared for their imaging test or procedure. In short, a Patient Service Representative is responsible for much of the patient’s experience at IHS, and we want that experience to always be exceptional.

As a Patient Representative, you will:

Engage with patients (check them in, handle payments, make appointment confirmation calls, etc.)
Interact with referring physician offices (Communicate critical results, clarifying ordering issues, etc.)
Have an important role in improving patient care
Work closely with clinical staff to provide an outstanding patient experience

Have experience working on a computer
Are organized and detail oriented
Be a good teammate

Qualifications:

H igh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training in customer service.
Proficient in MS Office and EHR
Looking for night and weekend availability
