Jobseekers with delivery experience are needed to deliver concentrated routes in the GVA.

The job:

Using our company cargo van, gas card, you will deliver packages in the greater Vancouver area. Shift times and will be 6 am - 8 am start till you finish which is an average of 10 hours/day. Shifts will be 4-6 days a week and could be any of 7 days.

Zones are small and only part of one city. The driving range is limited, 30 km - 120 km /day.

Most deliveries are to Surrey, Langley, Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, New West and Tri-Cities.

• Pay is $150 for the first 120 drops, then $1.50 per additional drop. Busy days are $300.00+
• The company provides a van that you can take home and use to commute to work.
• All vehicle expenses including gas, insurance and maintenance are paid by the company.
• Performance bonuses.
• Lots of permanent work up to 6 days per week.
• Flexibility with time-off requests.

Requirements:

• Physically capable of working up to 12 hours daily and can lift up to 50lbs.
• Able to work any day of the week, shifts will be 4-6 days/week, typically 50 hours/week.
• Comfortable getting in and out of a van multiple times a day.
• Are reliable and available for full-time work.
• Are tech-savvy and have a smartphone with a data plan.
• Are 21 years of age or older.
• Have a valid BC Class 5 driver's license and clean driver abstract.
• No driver's license suspensions within the previous five years.
• No DUI/DWI within five previous years.
• Are able to pass a criminal background check.
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred:

• A strong driving or courier background with more than one year's experience in the region.
• The ability and willingness to change a tire when needed.
• A strong customer service background.
• An outgoing, friendly, cooperative personality.
