Job description

V&M Towing is looking for a full-time rollback driver for our Reading location. Idea candidate would be located in close proximity to the Reading/ Leesport Area. Willing to train the right candidate. Wage will depend on experience.

Job Responsibilities:

· Perform local and long-distance light-duty towing of cars, trucks, SUVs, and more

· Perform recovery and winch-out work

· Complete jobs safely, efficiently, and free of damage to equipment

· Perform emergency-response accident recovery including collisions, overturned vehicles, and multi-vehicle towing from accident scenes to storage lots

· Complete necessary paperwork - pre/post-trip inspections, work orders, etc.

· Receive and respond to job assignments from central dispatch operation

· Provide friendly customer service following company standards of culture

· Learn handheld job applications on Android smartphone/tablet

· Obey all traffic laws including speed limits and follow established traffic and transportation procedures

· Additional duties as assigned

· Treat all customers and co-workers with respect

· Every other weekend on-call

Qualifications:

· Valid Class-C or better driver's license; CDL a plus, but not required.

· Must have or can obtain valid Medical Card and renew as per regulation

· Acceptable Driving Record (determined by our insurance company)

· Must pass criminal background check

· Must pass pre-hire and random drug screenings

· Be dependable for scheduled shifts - follow instructions, take responsibility for actions, keep commitments, respond to directions

· Strong communication and interaction skills

· Independence, on-time, and reliable
