Location: Onsite in either Charlottesville, VA / Lovingston, VA / Valdosta, GA

Overview: Business-to-business consulting firm seeking experienced, qualified candidate to plan, develop, and present effective learning and development solutions across a growing organization.

másLabor is a leading labor consultant for the agricultural, commercial landscaping, hospitality, and construction industries, serving thousands of U.S. businesses across the country. The Training and Development Specialist will be a part of the People Operations team, working closely with our internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Executive Leadership Team.

The Training Development Specialist will:

  • Analyze training needs to develop new training and/or modify existing programs.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to develop a structured, data-driven curriculum for new team members
  • Plan, develop, and present training and staff development programs, using different methods such as group training, simulations, demonstrations, on-the-job training, 1:1 training, and workshops.
  • Develop various forms of onboarding, orientation, and skills training for different team members.
  • Administer various assessments to identify gaps in program knowledge, work-product quality, process/reporting implementation, and other core competencies.
  • Confer with management to conduct surveys to identify potential skill gaps based on projected process changes, program knowledge, client service, and other factors.
  • Maintain records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements.
  • Develop measurable benchmarks for participants, and mechanism for on-going training.
  • Develop and conduct training to migrate teams onto new technology platforms, namely Salesforce.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum four to six (4-6) years of professional learning and development experience required; experience in a SMB preferred, not required
  • Experience training teams on complex subject matter
  • Experience engaging and motivating teams of both junior and tenured staff
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
  • Experience or familiarity with content, process (bonus points for Salesforce), and client service training.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Pay: Commensurate with experience, opportunity for significant bonus potential and upward mobility / incentive-based compensation respective to established benchmarks

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
