• Location: 34 - 61027 Hwy 672, Sexsmith, ABT0H 3C0
• Salary: $31.00 hourly for 40 hours per week

• Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time
• Employment conditions: Shift, Overtime, On Call, Flexible Hours (Shifts are 15 days on, 6 days off. During the days on, employees are required to be on-call 24/7, as long as employees are not houred out.)
• Start date: Starts as soon as possible

Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods

• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch
• Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
• Transport and handle dangerous goods

Credentials/Licences

• Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
• Air Brake (Z) Endorsement

Type of Trucking and Equipment: Flatbed; Tractor-trailer

Area of Specialization: Automatic transmission; Manual transmission

Security and Safety: Driving record check (abstract); Drug test

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's license; Drive manual transmission vehicle; Drive automatic transmission vehicle
