Unit Clerk

Mat-Su Health Services is excited to present the opportunity for a Unit Clerk to join our primary care team. We are a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) providing integrated medical, dental and behavioral health care. If you have experience with electronic health records, or worked as a medical assistant, phlebotomist, CNA, EMT or similar we want to speak to you. We give preference to candidates who are certified as medical assistant. Experience in a behavioral healthcare setting is a plus. This position requires a fingerprint based background check; a current driver’s license and a clear driving record.

Our positions require strong team players and self-starters. The Unit Clerk is responsible for clerical duties in the primary care clinic and the referral management for the medical team. This includes phone contact with patients and healthcare/service providers, scheduling appointments and clerical duties to support patients and staff. The position may support Covid-19 testing efforts through a variety of activities.

Wage: $16.00/hour. Starting wage increases corresponding to your experience and skill level.
