US Social Media Coordinator, $30,000-$45,000!
Here at Human Appealwe have an exciting opportunity for a US Social Media Coordinator to join our team based in Dallas, TX.You will be joining us on a full-time basis. In return, you will receive a competitive salary!
Human Appeal is a faith-based charity that aims to abolish poverty by providing humanitarian aid, sustainable development programs and championing advocacy for our beneficiaries worldwide.
As a US Social Media Coordinator, the successful candidate will develop, oversee and build on our online community management programme. The individual will select talent through outreach, insights and internal knowledge, while conducting ongoing reviews of performance, and analysis of results and learnings to inform strategy and strengthen our online communities. The will operate across the key prominent social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, You Tube, TikTok, Twitch, ClubHouse etc.) looking at how we can grow our online communities strategically, and where we can engage, support and reassure through insight, impact, endorsers, influencers and experts. We are ideally looking to appoint somebody immediately to this role.

Key duties and responsibilities of the US Social Media Coordinator:
- Successfully secure new partnerships.
- Increase brand awareness with a focus on audience growth, brand impressions and reach.
- To ensure we maintain a low cost per click, a low cost per acquisition, and maintain high quality content production.
- To increase the number of leads, page views and visits.
- To increase conversion and referral rates
- To increase the number of sales, donation value and average order value.
- To achieve an overall ROAS of 1:4
- To increase engagement rates per campaign, user generated content, % of existing partnerships, number of brand mentions, and influencer engagement per channel.
- Weekly report against the RACE Framework.
What we’re looking for in our US Social Media Coordinator:
- Ideally degree-educated. PR or Marketing related qualification or equivalent desirable.
- Minimum of 2 years in a similar post
- Proven track record of project and events management
- MS Office Suite
- Competent user of Social Media
- Experienced in talent / Influencer management
- Experience pitching and negotiating with external partners and agencies.
- Experience in interpreting and analyzing data to identify marketing strategies and test them in the market.
- An understanding of the importance of brand culture with PR and influencer management.
- Have a flair for scouting new emerging affiliate / influencer talent.
- Knowledge of both current and emerging global platforms including but not limited to: Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, Club House & Instagram.
- An understanding of how online communities / influencers can play a key role in building brand awareness, affinity, content creation and driving commercial value for the charity.
- Creative with strong copy writing skills and knowledge in social media trends.
- Possess strong organization skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will be a self-driven individual with the ability to use own initiative.
- Significant experience working in a commercial environment.
- Significant experience in PR and influencer management, brand culture, with an established network of gen-Z influencer contacts. Multi country experience a bonus.
- Project management experience.
- Ability to crisis manage and think strategically in difficult situations.
- Ability to build long-lasting relationships with the best-performing affiliates / influencers.
- Track record of successful collaborations with affiliates / influencers.
- Ability to research and find the most relevant affiliates / influencers.
- 2 years’ account handling or influencer management experience.
- Agency or equivalent experience.
- Fluent written and spoken English is essential. Additional languages such as Arabic, Urdu, are desirable
- Passionate and knowledgeable about the international development sector
