Job description

Our security firm is looking for a security guard to train and support at our retail locations. This position is an excellent opportunity for an individual who wants to work in a fast-paced environment. The perfect candidate will possess strong communication and customer service skills, and have the ability to handle upset customers while remaining calm and collected.

Responsibilities:

• Observe security monitors and cameras, and respond accordingly to alarms from these devices.
• Follow established protocols for handling suspicious activity and emergency situations.
• Provide a safe environment to individuals, families, and businesses.
• Maintain confidentiality of documents, data, and other company property.
• Keep watch for vandalism of company buildings or property.
• Deal with difficult customers.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Salary: $18.00-$23.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Evenings

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
