Visionary Optometry of Long Island is a specialty optometric practice passionate about helping children and adults get the help they need for vision problems which interfere with their ability to read, learn, comprehend, and even pay attention. The mission of the Vision Therapy Administrator (VTA) is to change the lives of people who need our programs of care.

The VTA guides potential patients or their parents from initial contact through our testing process and builds relationships, creating understanding and commitment to enroll in a program of care. VTA conducts the sign-up consultation, presenting doctor recommendations and fees.

The VTA also leads outreach. Researches and contacts groups, organizations, professionals and others to increase awareness and generate referrals for optometric vision therapy.

We are looking for a caring individual with excellent communication skills. Creative and resourceful, detail oriented and organized. Must be empathetic and enjoy helping others.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $44,410.00 - $53,607.00 per year
