Due to our continued growth TK Elevator (Canada) Limited, Burnaby is adding a warehouse representative to our growing team. The successful individual will have experience in a project based environment and be committed to becoming an integral part of our project delivery team. The individual will work closely with the TK Elevator Supervisor to deliver on-time, high-quality projects for our client-base.

Your Responsibilities

• Responsible for incoming and outgoing shipments of project materials
• As required assist Supervision / Co-ordination with project purchases
• Verify shipment accuracy, completeness and condition of shipments
• Verify, Itemize and Identify cost allocation & Project #s for Materials
• Prepare Materials and Tools in advance and arrange delivery to site in direct consultation with Supervision
• Packing / Unloading of Material at Warehouse
• Follow the highest standards of Safety
• Develop in-depth knowledge of industry terminology and parts, in order to effectively support field personnel
• Conduct regular hazard assessments of the shop area and facilitate weekly warehouse inspections

Your Qualifications

• High school diploma and / or equivalent work experience, coupled by shipping / receiving and forklift experience
• A basic understanding of Project Based work including Job Costing and Purchasing concepts
• A minimum of two-years related experience in a warehouse environment
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with others
• Ability to handle competing priorities and manage time effectively
• Be physically fit and committed to growth within a successful organization
