WatchMojo is one of the largest media brands on YouTube, specializing in “infotainment” videos about pop culture. We’re currently looking for freelance script writers to work remotely, specifically on True Crime content.

The types of topics we've covered in the past include: Creepy Facts About Jeffrey Dahmer, Cold Cases That Were Finally Solved, Notorious FBI Most Wanted Fugitives, Major Crimes Solved By Normal People, Real Life Crimes Inspired by Movies and TV and Notorious Gangs That Are Still Active. We’re looking for enthusiastic writers who can commit to completing a minimum of one project per week (ideally). You’ll work remotely, on projects that we assign based on your interests, or that are chosen by you from our list. The work consists of helping us research and rank our lists, and writing the scripts used for voice-overs in our videos. This is a paid, project-based mandate, open to anyone. We are located in Montreal, Canada, but this is a fully remote position and can be done from anywhere!

For this posting we require the following:

• Post-Secondary Education (current or graduate)
• Strong English writing skills
• The ability to follow instructions, be timely and meet all deadlines
• A keen eye for detail and factual accuracy
• Have strong interest/knowledge in pop culture, specifically Film and TV
