Marmon Utility LLC, an operating unit of The Marmon Group - part of Berkshire Hathaway Inc., is a manufacturer of medium and high voltage underground cable from 5KV through 138kV, subsea cable, aerial cable systems, and molded polyethylene insulators. Marmon Utility LLC has more than 200 years of experience in the design, engineering, installation, and service of electric cable, cable systems and polymer insulators.

Pay: $20. 00+ per hour to start (rate of pay is based on experience) $2.50 after successful completion of training

Schedule: 7:00pm – 7:00am, Monday to Thursday 4-day -12-hour shifts…and enjoy 3-day weekends!

Line Operator Responsibilities

• Review documentation / work orders

• Set up machinery / processes in Tower, pay off and Take up areas (assigned area)

• Operate machinery in assigned area

• Clean and reassemble machinery in assigned area

• Monitor controls, materials, processes in assigned area and quality of production

• Load / replace materials in assigned area

• Change out product and slice product for continued production

• Repair machinery and prepare components for machines in assigned area

• Coordinate other repairs with maintenance and engineering

• Operate power moving devices, change propane cylinders

Skills

• Understanding of production procedures

• Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g., constant use of protective gear)

• Analytical skills

• Attention to detail, Teamwork and communication skills

• Physical stamina and strength
