Bakery Clerk

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform assigned tasks in a professional manner and with a positive attitude
• Package and price products including cakes, pies, rolls, muffins, breads and other baked goods
• Put out products for sale and ensure they are fresh and of top quality
• Work with equipment like ovens, proofers, mixers, slicers, and other equipment in accordance with company Health & Safety guidelines
• Fill the bread wall, ensuring proper rotation and checking of dates
• Answer customer questions and ensure customers leave satisfied
• Take customer orders ensuring all information gathered is correct
• Inform customers about our bakery products and service
• Be aware of department promotions
• Keep workspace clear of debris and clear of clutter
• Perform sweeping and mopping of floors
• Complete end of shift cleaning and shut down of department
• Carry out duties in accordance with all food safety guidelines and regulations

Qualifications:

· Safety Orientated

· Able to work independently

· Excellent Customer Service

· Available to work varying shifts

· Team player

Terms of Employment: Part-Time

Education: Some High School; Students welcome to apply

Work Experience: Experience is an asset but not required.
