Job Posting – Bookkeeping Associate - Belleville

You are a friendly, outgoing person who likes to work with people, while also maintaining a high attention to detail and professionalism. You are someone with a good understanding of digital platforms, can learn new computer programs and software with ease and have strong organizational skills. You are good with number, have strong math skills, and are good with handling and organizing spreadsheets.
THE ROLE – Your responsibilities will include managing and maintaining financial files, communicating with clients/partners, preparing account payables and receivables, track financials and provide reports. Reviewing and filling bi-weekly payroll will be a recurring task for the bookkeeper. You will be responsible for completing end of year financials, filling out government forms, preparing tax forms and issuing T4s. We are a small business and rely on everyone stepping up in different areas and executing different tasks when necessary. We anticipate that you will grow into more responsibility as you get more comfortable in the role.

WHAT YOU BRING
- Experience with bookkeeping and financial accounting
- Experience with payroll, preparing tax returns, T4s and other government documents
- A diploma or degree in accounting is preferred
- Experience and good understanding of NetSuite is a plus
- An open mind and a positive attitude
- A willingness to take on a wide variety of tasks (including hands on work)
- A valid driver’s license
