Skotidakis was established 46 years ago and is now a Canadian leader in dairy products. We are searching for Certified Millwright - Electromechanic/Électromécanicien to join our welcoming team. The team is in need for additional help and is ready to help, train and join in candidates that are interested. The work environment is clean and offers opportunity for growth, gain further knowledge and challenge.

The Skotidakis Factory is situated on the Quebec / Ontario border. We are located in St-Eugene K0B1P0. We are center located between Montreal – Ottawa and Lachute. A shuttle service is offered from Montreal to our facility.

Location and Transportation

• Vaudreuil 25 minutes
• Dollard-Des-Ormeaux 35 minutes
• Valleyfield 35 minutes
• Lachute 45 minutes
• Montreal TMR 50 minutes
• Cornwall 60 minutes

Shifts Schedule available:-

• Monday to Friday (5:00pm to 4:00am company transportation available).
• If you have own transportation ( 4:00pm to 2:00am )
• Weekends on Call

1. Operate automatic packaging equipment

2. Complete production work orders during your shift

3. Minimize mechanical downtime of equipment, complete analysis of breakdowns and improve reliability.

4. Perform unplanned/reactive electrical, mechanical repairs

5. Review technical training to ensure operator personal to understand proper use of equipment

6. Support production

7. Maintain all machinery to OEM spec

8. Repair and maintenance of Yogurt and Cheese filler machines. Fully automated machines with servos, encoders and high precision pneumatics

9. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical

10. Ability to troubleshoot and pinpoint between mechanical and PLC settings

11. Fine tuning machines to run smoothly and efficiently

12. Monitors automated system machine performance

13. Proactivity and sense of organization

14. Ability to communicate and troubleshoot when needed with manufacturers and other support streams

Requirements

• 3-4 yrs experience as a technician, electro-mechanic, mechanic
• experience as a machine operator
• Candidate must have experience and/or training preferably with automated packaging machines, performing maintenance, troubleshooting and improving processes
• Understanding of programmable logic within automated systems
• Show good knowledge or have experience in automated packaging machines
• Able to work overtime and weekends when required
• Team spirit
