Little George’s Child Care Centre offers licensed full and part-time daycare for children aged 18-months to 5 years. The Day Care also offers programming for school-aged children, 6 to 12 years. Our educators encourage children to learn through spontaneous play to help them develop physically, socially, and emotionally.

EDUCATORS (RECE)/CHILD-CARE PRACTITIONERS

Little George’s Child Care Centre is currently seeking applications for Relief Child-Care Practitioners. We are looking for flexible, enthusiastic, energetic and reliable individuals to work with our team. Candidates who are creative and dedicated, with strong communication and programming skills in a play-based, emergent environment are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications:

· Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education, and registration with the College of Early Childhood Educators (RECE) is preferred

· Diploma or degree in child and youth care, recreation and leisure services, or a member in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) will be considered where applicable

· Must provide a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check

· Able to work effectively as a team player

· Enthusiasm for working with children

· Good communication skills, both verbal and written

· First aid with Child/Youth CPR training is required

. Successful candidates will be required to review and abide by George Jeffrey Children’s Centre’s Policy on COVID-19 Vaccination
