Job description

We are looking for several motivated employees to assist with a large contract refurbishing components of marine structures in the Vancouver area until late March/early April 2023. Work will include scraping and cleaning structures and installing components. Occasional heavy lifting and repetitive labor-intensive work will be required. Work will take place on boats and barges, experience working around the water and with boats/small outboard motors an advantage. Experience with mechanics and shop tools is also an asset. Both day and night shifts will be required, mostly nights, depending on tides. Occasional additional work in our shop in Maple Ridge may be needed. Work will be mostly outdoor in all weather conditions.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 2 months

Salary: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
