Calahoo Meats is currently accepting applications for an Class 3 Truck Driver working with our fleet of trucks serving northern Alberta.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Pre-trips equipment daily and reports as per company and industry requirements
• Assist in loading/unloading at head warehouse location
• Overnight trips - currently not required but possible
• Communicates with dispatch to ensure efficient route planning
• Laisse with clients on site as required ensuring satisfaction of delivery.
• Collects payments as required
• Ability to work independently
• Decision Making
• Problem solving

Qualifications:

• Class 3 driver’s license with company approved Driver abstract
• Proficient in English spoken and written
• Ability to focus attention on details of the job and maintain an efficient pace
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Ability to work long hours
• Heavy lifting - infrequent - over 60lbs
• Must present a professional appearance
• Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
• Ascending and descending ramps and stairs
• Extended periods of sitting

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $60,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
