Located in the heart of Downtown Halifax, we are small but very busy massage therapy clinic and are seeking a customer service lead to join our team.
This position is a full time permanent position.
Hours are Monday to Friday
8:30-5pm.
This role involves a variety of duties ranging from maintaining a clean and organized work space, greeting clients and managing insurance billing’s and bookings.
The successful candidate should be comfortable learning at a fast pace under close supervision to gain an understanding of our services and providing outstanding customer service and support for clients. The successful candidate should also be comfortable representing the office at the front desk, greeting clients and managing the traffic for appointments and walk-ins, while presenting a professional image. Phone skills are essential, as this role consists of taking calls, booking appointments and answering client questions.
As the successful candidate, your skills and tasks would include the following:
- Greeting patients with a pleasant disposition
- Billing insurance companies online for massage therapy treatments and maintaining up to date patient files.
- Answering phone calls, booking appointments and responding to emails.
- Performing light cleaning duties including laundry & keeping the waiting area stocked and tidy.
- Maintaining organization with filing, paperwork and billing’s.

- You have excellent attention to detail, as well as organizational and prioritization skills
- You have a strong verbal and written communication skills
- You have strong multi-tasking ability (this is also a major factor of the job)
- You handle working in a fast paced environment well
- You have strong listening and comprehension skills
- You have a drive to learn and common sense.
- You enjoy working closely with management as well as patients
- You must be very comfortable working with technology
