The Data Analyst Internship at FCP is a unique opportunity to explore a career in this sector, offering an amazing training ground that includes working directly with the firm’s leadership and other industry leaders, development of data and analytical skills, and an opportunity to make a meaningful impact early in your career.

The intern program will last 8-10 weeks starting June 5, 2023, and be based in the Washington DC office. Housing is not provided but assistance may be available if needed. Interns are required to work in the office Monday - Friday.

YOUR ROLE: As a Data Analyst Intern, you will gain experience by:

• Design and develop datasets and BI reports for organizational groups
  Automate and develop financial reports and datasets
• Daily data review and clean up as data comes in through various sources. This involves constantly looking for trends and patterns to better the process and become more efficient.
• Capstone project to present at the end of your internship

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

• Rising Seniors (Only 2024 graduates will be considered)
• Strong preference for candidates with interest or course study in Computer Science, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Information Management Systems
• Previous classes/experience with python and SQL
• Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information and translate into strategic deliverables
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Strong proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Motivated self-starter with effective time management skills and strong attention to detail
• A desire to work within a fast-paced, collaborative and entrepreneurial environment
