Williamsport-South is looking for PT and FT Dietary Aides to complete our team!
The Dietary Aide works in the kitchen assisting in the preperation of food and follows a cleaning schedule. The service of food may include transporting food trays to the nursing units.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Prepares and/or assist in the preperation of meals, snacks and beverages
- Responsible for or assist in assembling meal trays, cleaning and storage of supplies and equipment
- Continuously cleans food service work areas as food preperation and service is done
- Labels nourishment and sends or transports them to the resident floors
- Transports trays to the resident floors
- Uses equipment according to manufacturers instructions. Follows proper cleaning techniques and preventitive maintenance schedules.
- Handles, stores and disposes of food supplies and prepares food in accord with department procedures and in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Follows policies and procedures for infection control at all times.
