Overview:
As a District Manager for WOW! Mobile boutique covering the GTA/Ontario area, you will be an inspiring leader who has a passion for the retail and wireless industry with an outstanding record of driving sales and creating a community within a district.

Your leadership style influences and encourages the emergence of top performing sales teams while delivering on District sales and operational targets/objectives. The combination of your high level of interpersonal and customer skills ensure your assigned district is running with operational excellence, supports our brands, and meets their business goals. Acting as a liaison between the head office, support team and the field teams you will support facilitation of store visits, team calls, District workshops and National sales meetings.

What a day in a District Manager's role consists of:
  • Achieve key business objectives including sales, reviews, client experience, operational compliance and responsible for creating strategies for underperforming location
  • Ensure employees have completed necessary training and coaching requirements
  • Ensure all locations are staffed appropriately according to the established guidelines
  • Management and coaching of all Sales Managers to ensure career development and succession planning is in place
  • Ensure that all hiring is completed in proactive manner using appropriate organizational guidelines, as well as, responsible for retention and management of acceptable turnover rates
  • Ensure all kiosk locations are accountable for inventory count and LP concerns
  • Day to day area operations including field visit reports, communications to the team, payroll processes, performance management and HR related activities
The skillset we are looking for:
  • Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent
  • Strong management, coaching and leadership skills, developed in a retail organization and preferably within the wireless or electronics sector
  • Ability to manage area budgets, forecast sales and retail metrics, set goals for your stores and team
  • Proven clear understanding of sales and customer service fundamentals
  • Multi-unit management experience, previous management of a remote workforce an asset
  • Basic understanding of the fundamentals of recruitment
  • Effective organization and planning skills with the ability to organize and schedule people and tasks, develop realistic action plans within time and resource constrains
  • An understanding of merchandising a retail location to drive business
  • Proven and genuine ability to drive sales, inspire and engage work team
  • Travel as per business need
  • Ability to lift and carry 30-50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to sit in a car for extended periods of time
  • Ability to turn, bend, walk frequently
