We have a strong preference that our candidates are 25+ years old and live in NYC.
Try outs start this week. First day of paid training will be on Tuesday 1/17/2023.
Shift:
- Tuesday - Thursday 11:30AM-3:30PM in Long Island City
Starting pay is $16.50/hr. After 30 days working for Gimme Paw your pay rate goes up to $18.00/hr. After six months your pay rate goes up to $20.00/hr. Additional raises are based on performance. There are also TIPS FROM CLIENTS for a job well done and that can add to your compensation if you provide quality service. Extra hours/shifts are available once we are confident you are a solid addition to our team!

(3) Solid people skills (client relations are a significant part of the job)
(4) Ability to work with and handle multiple dogs simultaneously
(5) Ability to follow instructions quickly and correctly
(6) In possession of a working smart phone. Using the app with GPS tracking required
(7) In possession of outdoor/all weather gear
(8) Able to honor work commitments. Lateness and/or missed days will get you fired QUICKLY.
(9) Clean background and legally allowed to work in US (you will be background checked)
(10) Willingness to commit to working for the company for at least 6 months.
(11) Physically fit (the job is very physically exerting)
(12) Not squeamish (part of the job is picking up poop and cleaning messes)
(13) Live in NYC with subway access
