Days Inn Orillia

Days Inn Orillia is hiring a part-time delivery driver to deliver and pick up linen to and from our processing facility located in the GTA.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain vehicle equipment, service and appearance.
  • Complete pick up and deliveries of linen to the designated facility based on laundering schedule in a timely, safe and courteous manner.
  • Able to lift and push 50 to 80 LBS unassisted.
  • Unload and reload bins into the trailer, placing bins in designated area.
  • Shuttle guests to Casinorama as needed; Casino located across the street from the hotel.
  • Bring vehicle in for servicing as required.
  • Assist with preparing and storing product, as needed.
  • Execute related tasks as needed.

Vehicle provided by the company.

Qualifications

  • Safe and responsible driver
  • High school diploma or general education degree
  • 1 year experience minimum as a Delivery Driver preferred
  • Must possess current and valid drivers license with a driving record that meets the insurability guidelines set forth by the company's insurance carrier

Salary: From $16.85 per hour

Schedule:

  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday
  • On call
  • Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime pay

COVID-19 considerations:
PPE including face mask and gloves provided to all employees. Increased frequency in cleaning of touchpoints. Face masks required for all those in indoor settings.
