Protex Environmental
Protex Environmental is currently seeking Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanics / Technicians for our Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan location.
Key Accountabilities
This position is part of our busy environmental services company, and responsible for:
- Performing maintenance, repairs, and testing on company owned equipment
- Completing some minor fabrication work
- Performing Safety Inspections for company owned equipment
- Performing other duties as required
Requirements:
- Red Seal Certification as a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician / Mechanic, we will accept apprentice applications
- Some experience with welding or willingness to learn
- Hydraulic and electrical experience and knowledge is an asset
- Solid mechanical skills with the ability to troubleshoot problems and read schematics
- The ability to maneuver in and around heavy equipment
- A Class 5 driver’s license at a minimum, Class 3a or 1a preferred
- Our operating hours are 8:00am-5:00pm. Service truck work and field work required at times.

Experience:
- Heavy Equipment Mechanics: 2 years (preferred)
- Journeyman (preferred)
