Boone County, located in Columbia, MO is looking for an HR Specialist - Risk Management.

Responsibilities: Administers Boone County's risk management program for workers’ compensation, liability, property, and casualty risks. Interprets and administers leave programs and policies under the applicable federal and state employment laws (FMLA, ADA, etc.) Other Human Resources projects as assigned.

Status: Full-time, exempt, benefited

Working hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in related discipline (e.g., human resources, public administration, business management, accounting, paralegal studies) or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in the areas of insurance, worker’s compensation, employment or civil litigation, human resources, risk management, or loss prevention preferred. Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Annual Salary Range: $48,027 - $72,030 commensurate with experience
