The Market at White Horse offers homemade soups, salads, sandwiches, and dinners for carry-out, made from scratch using locally sourced, mostly organic, quality ingredients. Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Provide our customers with outstanding customer service
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by company standard.
- Assist with food preparation and baking in an accurate and timely manner, including sandwiches, dinners, salads, sauces, etc. according to company standards
- Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following all safety and sanitary guidelines
- Assist with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, coolers and all storage areas
- Establish and maintain a positive attitude towards customers, co-workers, etc.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Prep/kitchen experience strongly preferred but we will train the right person
- Ability to work with others in a team setting
- Able to work quickly, efficiently, and independently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities of the kitchen
- Have a passion and appreciation for wholesome, quality food
- Have a positive attitude and like to have fun at work
Schedule:
- Full time/part time available
- Flexible to work mornings, evenings, and weekends
- 8-10 hour shifts
