Full-time Maintenance Supervisor required at Campbellford Memorial Hospital in Campbellford, Ontario.

The Maintenance Supervisor will be required to plan, organize and control the department of Plant Operations and Maintenance of the facilities.

Position must comply with established facility policies, practices and standards in regards to Occupational Health & Safety, as well as but not limited to:

• Implement facility policies.
• Appraise staff, report their effectiveness and make recommendations to the Maintenance Manager.
• Establish departmental policies and procedures, evaluate their effectiveness, and recommend changes for improvement to the Maintenance Manager.
• Assist in the direction, supervision, and coordination of the Plant Operations and Maintenance department.
• Assist in planning, scheduling of supervision and maintenance repair work, such as plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical work, refrigeration, elevator repair, and gardening.
• Ensure that all departmental and facility equipment is maintained at a consistency high level of performance.
• Assist in new building projects and keep the Maintenance Manager advised of any irregularities.
• Complete monthly, annual and other operational reports and submit these to the Manager.
