About the Position:

Come join our Eagle Crest South's Environmental Services Team as a Maintenance Technician! This position will work directly with our Director of Environmental Services and the Maintenance and Housekeeping Supervisor to ensure our community stays in operating condition. The successful candidate will repair work requests in a timely manner such as projects and repairs as needed by staff and residents, and work with safety/security systems such as fire alarms, fire extinguishers, fire suppression systems and door entry and locks. This position also assists in apartment turnover, carpet maintenance with extraction equipment, general upkeep with the community and grounds, assist in checking mechanical equipment and perform scheduled preventative maintenance and emergency repairs, while maintaining required records and reports as necessary.

This is a full time position , 80 hours per two week pay period, working primarily daytime hours Monday-Friday, but must be available to work evenings and weekends when necessary. Participation in the emergency maintenance on-call rotation is required, which is one week out of every six; this includes Eagle Crest South, Eagle Crest North, Cass Street, and The Holmen Campus.

Requirements:

Knowledge of plumbing, electrical and basic building construction, as well as experience with commercial kitchens and/or HVAC equipment is beneficial, but not required. We will train the right fit for our team!

Valid driver's license with clean driving record required.

Compensation:

Starting pay is $18.00 to $22.00+ per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
