Job description
We are looking for a person to cover temporary full-time hours in a busy General Practice Medical Clinic while our receptionist is on medical leave (12-14 months)
Friendly, knowledgeable, reliable, independent, hardworking candidate required. The ideal candidate has experience in a medical environment. Complies with policies, procedures, rules and regulations to maintain a safe and clean workplace. Is a warm and inviting professional with demonstrated abilities in managerial and reception skills. Has the ability to problem solve and juggle multiple tasks. Must be computer savvy. Has experience with electronic medical records and medical terminology.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) patient registration and scheduling, overseeing clinic traffic and exam room management, telephone communication, some chart maintenance, filing, faxing and copying, purchasing and stocking, light cleaning.
Hours are Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 4:00pm with the ability to work Fridays if necessary.
