RAHCAR Power Corp. Is a growing company in the Powerline Construction and Maintenance Industry. We are looking for a highly-motivated individual to join our team as a crew Foreman based out of Grande Prairie Alberta, working province wide.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- As a Journeyman Powerline Technician (PLT), you will perform activities related to the electrical construction, maintenance, repair or testing on energized and de‐energized distribution voltages.
- Recognize, assess and control potentially hazardous situations in the work environment.
- Report near misses and investigate incidents.
- Provide supervision and direction to a powerline construction crew.
- Function effectively as an integral part of a work group working with and reporting to the management structure.
- Work safely in all conditions.
- Possess knowledge of industry standard safe working practices.
- Assist management with the development of Apprentice PLT’s
- Assist with job planning.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Class 1 or 3
- Valid Trade Certification
- Red Seal Certification
- Rubber glove certification and with strong background is an asset
- Effective organization and planning skills with a basic computer skills
- Self‐starter with the ability to work productively and independently of close supervision
- Excellent interpersonal, team participation and communication skills
- Strong distribution operation, construction and maintenance knowledge and skills
- Strong customer relations skills and willingness to learn new customer techniques
- Willing to work away from home base as required

RAHCAR Power Corp. offers a competitive compensation and benefits package which will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $60.00-$65.00 per hour
