Job description
Summary:
The Product Manager will be responsible for projects relating to industrial metal furnaces with a focus on strip processing applications. Usual project scope includes combustion/controls upgrades, furnace rebuilds, field service, and equipment design/supply/install/commissioning.
Responsibilities:
- Mechanical design and functional description writing for material handling systems
- Process calculations and piping systems design
- Perform design calculations and prepare equipment
- Structural design
- Refractory design
- Technical purchasing specification and requistion writing
- Fabrication inspections
- Develop and maintain project work schedules
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- EIT or PE certification is preferred
- At least 10 years of prior experience in design, project engineering, and start-up of similar equipment
- Prior experience with combustion, refractory, electronic systems, structural, and mechanical design
- Proficient in CAD software
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
