Duties and Responsibilities
- Cleaning, sweeping and vacuum in the different departments of the plant
- Lubrication of plant equipment
- Handling of containers and bags up to 25 kg
- Operation of a forklift (must have a valid driving license)
- Operation of a bagger valve and daily maintenance
- Operation of bagging a ton bags (tote)
- All other duties required
- Must have a safe work attitude
- Able to work in a team
- Maintain a respectful and positive attitude
- Perform the necessary tasks in a timely manner
- Computer skills and basic math
- Must be proactive and involved in food safety programs
- Learn and follow the rules and work policies.
- Produce appropriate documentation
- Punctuality and attendance at work
- High school education or equivalent is preferred
- Work in accordance with local/provincial legislation
- Understands and is accountable for full compliance with safety and other EHS requirements
- Capable of climbing stairs and use ladders
- Capable of lifting 25 kg bags repeatedly during a day
- Able to sit or stand for long periods
- Able to work at height
- Capable of bending, kneeling and squatting
- Able to work in a variety of environmental conditions, hot and cold temperatures and dusty conditions
- Able to work in shifts 12 hours to work during weekends and work overtime when required by management
