Tasks & Responsibilities

• Sampling of raw material (preparation of labels, filling of forms, retest of raw materials, etc.)

• Bulk capsules, verification and sampling of bulk capsules from other suppliers

• Daily cleaning of the sampling room

• Sampling for water analysis (once a month)

• Make control checks of processes and starts during bottling and record data;

• Investigate unexpected problems and provide solutions to resolve them

• Report unusual events and non-conformities on a daily basis;

• Enter QC data, complete forms/registers and maintain accurate and complete records;

• Release of raw materials (in cooperation with the warehouse)

· Collect and manage selected samples of finished products; · Enter microbiological results for finished products;

• Draft, review, and update standard operating procedures (SOPs);

• Maintain professional relationships and provide support to internal and external services;

• Assists in the organization and maintenance of the department and other relevant duties as assigned.

Skills & Competencies

• Good oral and written communication skills in English and French;

• Computer proficiency with MS Office;

• Sound understanding of current GMP requirements (NHP and Drug an asset);

• Must be organized and have the ability to develop and maintain effective working environment;

• Ability to work with limited direct supervision;

• Ability to meet deadlines with strong attention to details.

Education & Experience

• College degree in Science;

• One to two years of experience in a similar position;

• Quality Control experience in the Pharmaceutical industry (an asset).

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, Day shift – 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
40 hours / week
Full-time permanent position
