BestNest is currently seeking to contract a full-time CTRS, Recreational Therapist to provide services at a State Correctional Facility in Ione, CA. Applicants must have 1 year of experience.

Rate:$70.00 per hour as 1099

Locations and schedules:
6-month assignments with the possibility of extension.

Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday 7:00a-5:00p

No weekends
Federal Holidays off
Biweekly pay

Responsibilities:

Assess patient needs
Personal observation and talks with the patient and his or her loved ones
Execute a therapeutic program targeted toward what that patient requires most
Keep current on communal and therapeutic resources available to best help the patients

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of experience within the last 36 months (3yrs) as a Recreational Therapist
A valid and current BLS card from American Heart Association (required)
1 year of experience and Must have an active NCTRC or California Board of Recreation and Park Certification CBRPC certification (required

• Elk Grove, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
