Summary:
The ideal candidate will have previous experience supporting a government contracting organization, have proven full-cycle recruiting and H.R. Generalist experience. This role will support the Talent Acquisition Manager, COO and Hiring Managers.
Job Duties:
Recruiting

  • Assists Talent Acquisition Manger in Full Life Cycle Recruitment: sourcing best talent, conducting effective and insightful screening as appropriate for hiring managers
  • Updates applicant tracking system throughout the recruiting process
  • Facilitates all interview processes, job advertising, coordinating all interviews, assisting with selection and offer processes
  • Works within the business development process as it relates to staffing: review RFPs, identify needed skill sets, identify qualified candidates to be bid, coordinate/update tailored resumes for the proposal, coordinate letters of commitments (as needed)
  • Conducts and coordinates on-boarding activities such as orientation and training for new hires

HR Generalist / Admin Support

  • Provides administrative support to HR and Finance Team
  • Processes all new hire, personnel changes, and terminations
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and managers, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
  • Supports the performance management process
  • Organizes and updates electronic files
  • Assists with new and existing employee check-ins and follow ups
  • Promotes and executes HR and company events that create a collaborative environment
  • Promotes and supports the consistent application of HR policies and best practices
  • Reinforces company culture and values and works to support a positive work environment and morale among staff
  • Maintains confidentiality and security of all employee and proprietary company information

Qualifications:

  • Must have 5-7 years' Recruiting and HR Generalist experience
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • Proven previous experience with full cycle recruitment and creative sourcing with ability to support 5-10 requisition at a time
  • Experience with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Experience with internet sourcing and posting, career fairs, LinkedIn and proficient leveraging social media
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications
  • High degree of integrity and respect for confidential information
  • Ability to work collaboratively and take initiative
  • Possess strong organizational, communication (both written and verbal) and networking skills and will strive to provide valuable and timely customer service to management and candidates alike.
