Job description

We are looking to fill a position in a small manufacturing and R&D company. We innovate, manufacture, and sell portable ventilation products within Canada and also export to overseas. The role starts as a contract position but has the possibility to transition into a permanent position with benefits depending on your fit.

You must be comfortable to work in a small team of 1-3 people.

You must be trustworthy and reliable.

This is not an easy-peasy job - it is strictly for the serious minded.

You must be or have the desire to be a perfectionist.

1. Technical

You will need to have excellent “hand” skills and a careful eye - the ability to insert materials precisely, handle delicate objects/parts, and use hand tools like power drills, clamps, screw drivers, etc. You must be teachable and patient.

Lifting. Cleaning. Sanding. Drilling. Sawing. Hammering. Assembly. Calibration. Testing. Packaging. Other technical tasks.

2. Administration

All you need is to be able to use a computer, think logically, and follow instructions.

Documentation. Media / Graphics. Supply Chain. Procurement. Order processing. Customer service. Other administrative tasks.

Job Types: Part-time, Internship / Co-op
Part-time hours: 12 per week

Salary: $16.00-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
