LEE DRIVE LOCATION
Rice & Roux is a family-owned quick-service Cajun restaurant. We specialize in jambalaya & gumbo. We like to treat our customers as if we are inviting them to eat in our own kitchen.
We are looking for competent individuals to take orders and serve them to our guests while maintaining and enhancing the quality of our customer service.
You will work in close collaboration with co-workers and follow established health and safety standards. The goal is to accelerate our business development by providing customers with a memorable experience.
All team members are trained and required, but are not limited, to the following:
- Being friendly and team work oriented
- Helping all customers inside the restaurant
- Weekly rotation in washing dishes
- Cutting sausage & prepping food
- Making customers' orders
- Cleaning/Organizing
- Sweeping & Mopping
- You must be willing and able to hustle and have a positive attitude
- Being punctual and reliable is a must
Average starting hourly rate is $9.00-$9.50, depending on experience. We are also open to a higher starting rate for someone with more experience. Credit Card tips are split and (on average) add over an additional $2/hr per team member. Cash tips are also split and handed out on each shift.
Schedules are flexible and we do our best to work around our team members’ needs.
Rice & Roux is looking for strong team members to join our team. We are located on 320 Lee Dr. Suite A in Baton Rouge, LA. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and hard-working.
