Shakespeare Corner Shoppe is a woman-owned small business that prides itself on stocking one of the largest inventories of British groceries. We also take pride in offering excellent customer service, having a wonderfully diverse staff, and doing creative and quirky events!

Shakespeare Corner Shoppe in San Diego, CA (near Old Town) is looking for one shop assistant to join our team this May. Customer service skills are required. We can train and teach all the rest. We have been in business for over 22 years and have a tearoom and bakery attached. This is a part-time time position with hours ranging from 20-30 hours per week, health & dental benefits, shift meal & shoppe discount. Commission opportunity.

Earliest shift is 9.30am start and latest shift is 8.30pm close.

Responsibilities

• Till operation
• Stocking
• Be able to lift 25lbs
• Answer phones. Take tearoom reservations.
• Open & lock up.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of British food helpful
• Customer service skills
• Ability to handle cash & keep the till accurate.
